HorseArmor is the Video Game Monetization Database!

In other words, HorseArmor is an online database that sheds light on the monetization systems of video games. In today’s gaming world, understanding how games are monetized is more important than ever, and it is often hard to find all the information you need in one place. That’s where HorseArmor comes in. How do I use this site though?

Simply click on a title from the front page or use the search bar to view a game. From there, you can view which monetization tactics that game employs.

We encourage all our users to create an account and receive their official Horse Certificate (user profile) and leave reviews on games that they have played. Other horses can comment on or give you carrots (likes) on your review. When you leave a review on a game’s monetization, you can also rate your satisfaction with a game’s monetization. When enough users rate a game, a “User Score” is generated.

What is the point if you can review games on Steam?

Steam is a marketplace that sells game. We do not sell games. All of the reviews on steam, and other marketplaces, are reviews about the game specifically. The reviews on HorseArmor are from a monetization perspective. No other place on the Internet provides this.
