Notes: There has been controversy around p2w skins, but Riot Games has insisted that they have “competitive integrity” as a metric while doing their designs. Some pro players have spoken about how certain skins give better feedback in terms of audio cues and animation, which in return increase their “flow” in the game. In the history of the game however, there have been some skins that gave advantages to players, such as a knife skin enabling players to run faster.
